Grumpy Old Woman Come to Cardiff

‘Grumpy Old Woman’ is one of the BBC’s hit television shows. This television programme is currently on tour in the United Kingdom doing live performances, and one of its stops is at Cardiff on June 4, 2006. The show will be presented live for one night at the Wales Millennium Centre.

The script of ‘Grumpy Old Women Live’ was co-written by writer, comedian, and performer Jenny Eclair and Judith Holder. The programme will star Ms. Eclair, Dillie Keane (actress) and Linda Robson (TV favourite).

The performances in the live show will delightfully entertain the entire audience because of extensive preparation undertaken by the actors and actresses. It is their first time on centre stage in Wales.

According to the Marketing and Programming Director of the Wales Millennium Centre, Fiona Allan, the show is very humorous. It will surely entertain women and men of all ages and from different walks of life. The show had a very impressive response during its tour last year in the United Kingdom and they are hoping that this show will also be a hit in Wales.

The TV series featured a range of famous personalities including Germaine Greer, Janet Street-Porter, Sheila Hancock, and Ann Widdecombe, and it attracted almost five million viewers every episode. This live tour was produced to meet popular demand and also to break the record achieved by the previous show last year.

The script of ‘Grumpy Old Women Live’ was edited by Richard Herring. Mr Herring is also the editor of the script of the multi-awarded series, ‘Little Britain’.
