Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience

“Tween” girls just love the Jonas Brothers, which make this a great movie to watch with them. It will also bring back memories of the boy groups of our own youth and how we went to their concerts and screamed our lungs out. Which of us has never had a fantasy regarding our favourite teen heart throb and getting to meet and spend some time with him,

But if you’re worried that the Jonas Brothers will corrupt your children’s morales, worry no more. These guys are as squeaky clean as they are good looking. They all wear “purity” rings which attest to the fact that they are “saving themselves” for eventual marriage to that one special someone.

This movie utilizes lots of great special 3D effects and they are far superior to the ones we may remember when 3D technology was still in its infancy. Combined with the music and the acting, these special effects don’t take away from the film, as in some movies they do. Rather in this case, they enhance the flick and make for some stunning visual effects.

The music is wholesome with lyrics that will get even the most hardened moms and dads singing along. Many scenes from the film were shot in a live concert setting. The movie is 80 minutes or so long, and contains about a half hour of what, on a DVD, would be considered as bonus footage. These bonus segments include backstage sequences which are clearly staged, but none the less entertaining for it. There is some music performed in the movie that you won’t find released on any of the group’s CD’s thus far.

Definitely a great movie to enjoy with your pre-teen girls.
