10. Black Rain
An okay film, the big mistake was casting Michael Douglas to be an action hero.
9. American Gangster
Denzel Washington at his finest. Ridley had his work cut out here making sure it was as close to the truth as possible. He certainly did his work because the performances he got out of Denzel and Russell Crowe were amazing.
8. Kingdom of Heaven
Great period piece filled with lots of action and emotional moments.
7. Thelma and Louise
Great movie about two women who throw all caution to the wind and go out to do something crazy and run away from it all.
6. G.I. Jane
Tough love. Demi rocked the bald hairdo and Ridley took her to physical and emotional levels never seen from her before.
5. Hostage
Loved Bruce Willis in this one. It has some great intense moments and the human elements of the story are all there. Everyone can sympathize with his situation.
4. Alien
Kick ass movie about fighting aliens and getting covered in slime.
3. Blade Runner
The most visually stunning film of its time. This movie was revolutionary.
2. Black Hawk Down
Some great war scenes in this movie. An impossible mission.
1. Gladiator
It was monumental. There were tons of special effects, great acting scenes and some of the most intense one on one battle scenes ever filmed.
