Boxed wedding favours

When preparing for the wedding day, one item that really needs getting right is the wedding favour.

A gift to the “assistants” for their contribution during the ceremony and smooth running of the peripheral tasks is all too easily got wrong. One way to prepare the gift items is the simple box. Only even this may not seem quite so simple.

A little consideration can improve things dramatically. Coloured boxes can complement the theme of the wedding. Personalisation can take many forms, either by printing the box itself or selecting a ribbon or bow with the name of the receiver on it. You can even go as far as selecting different shaped boxes for the differing roles on the day, be it usher, bridesmaid, best man or chief bridesmaid right through to the bride’s mum and groom’s dad, which can reduce the favour selection process while maintaining personalisation for the special parties who are to receive the gift.

The contents of the box can then be considered and it is here that the real joy of favour organisation can be experienced. The only limiting factor should be the size of the box. You have free rein over the contents, from sweets and consumable items for the day or into the evening, to special presentations of travel accessories or one’s favourite board game to last a lifetime – your imagination can truly run wild.

A favour that’s given a little thought can change someone’s whole memory of the day – the boxed favour should be one complementary gift that does just that.
