A beach themed wedding can be a lot of fun. If you are planning to have one, it is important to keep in mind that there are a lot of things that you can do with your wedding cake. It is not advisable to use real seashells or other beach related items on a wedding cake. Beach themed colour schemes could include light blue or aqua blue, gold, and white. All of these colours are ones that we generally associate with the beach. For a tropical beach wedding theme, it may be a good idea to think about adding some brightly coloured flowers. If available at the time of the wedding, fresh tropical flowers could be used, or alternatively the cake baker could create edible tropical flowers from fondant icing. Tropical flowers are also a great beach themed wedding cake topper. These are just a few ideas when designing a beach themed wedding cake. With so many different options out there, it should be relatively simple to produce a unique cake to complement a beach themed wedding.
