Igor

Director, Tony Leondis has created an imaginary, fantastical land that is populated by mad scientists who rule over stereotypical servants. One such servant is the absolutely stunning hunchback, Igor. This is a funny twist on the old monster film with the same name, done in animations that are beautifully detailed. This movie stars John Cusack, Steve Buscemi, John Cleese, Jennifer Coolidge and others.
The strange but winsome Igor is a lab assistant—the guy that nobody notices unless they need something. His dream, of course, is to become a scientist one day. When his horrible, cruel master dies one day, Igor gets his chance and quickly grabs it.
He has already made a brain in a bottle. This brain is, unfortunately, not the smartest creature ever made or born. Igor also has a Bunny called Scamper, who is too cynical for his own good. Scamper was ‘rescued’ from the road after he got ran over.
Igor’s mad ambition apparently makes him want to avenge himself against the world. He is planning to do so by creating a huge, angry monster. But here too, things don’t go exactly as planned. Instead of a giant, fearsome creature, the gentle female giant Eva, who has artistic ambitions, is born.
Besides this array of characters, there is an undercover plot to destroy the world, such as it is, and Igor finds himself in the centre of it all. Igor may be over-simplified in places, and a little too dense in other places. But all things considered, this movie fits Igor like a glove. It’s a brilliant, amusing tale that all must see.
