The digestive system has some sensitive linings inside and when those come in direct contact with the stomach acids, they cause indigestion. The irritation and inflammation caused by this is what we feel as pain in the abdomen. The causes can be different in different cases and might be due to improper eating habits. The condition is quite a common occurrence and happens without any special treatments or any special medications to be adopted. The indigestion may need addressing in case it keeps coming back time and again and the frequency or duration increases.
