Name of Hotel: The Brownsover Hall Hotel

County: Warwickshire

The Brownsover Hall Hotel is a three star Grade II listed Victorian gothic mansion on the edge of the town of Rugby. It offers 47 rooms, many having original features and all with free wireless broadband access and room service. Some rooms are on the ground floor and there are rooms suitable for families.

The Sir Gilbert Scott restaurant has a menu of traditional British fare and can seat a maximum of 80 people. Couples wishing to use the restaurant for their wedding breakfast must guarantee a minimum of 50 people. The restaurant can hold up to 130 for the evening reception. Other rooms are available for smaller functions.

For the wedding breakfast, as well as for the evening buffet, couples can choose from a wide range of traditional or seasonal dishes on the menu. Themed and children’s menus are also available and the hotel can cater for special dietary requirements if needed.

For the ceremony the Drawing Room can seat up to 60 and the hotel’s dedicated wedding planner can assist with organising the many details of the day. Included in the hotel’s reception package are the use of the red carpet, table linen, toastmaster and wedding night accommodation for the bride and groom.

Exclusive use of the hotel can be made available and the seven acres of woodland and garden provide an ideal backdrop for the wedding photographs, weather permitting. Alternatively, the interior of the hotel is just as imposing, with log fires in winter and the sweeping staircase.
