Oakley Court Hotel

Berkshire

Built in 1859, Oakley Court was a private family home for over a century before becoming a hotel in 1981. Recognisable as a location for many films made in the 1950s, the hotel is set in 37 acres of gardens in the historic town of Windsor, with the lawns leading down to the River Thames.

It offers 118 air conditioned rooms from standard doubles to suites, some with four poster beds and views of the river. In 1997 a third wing was added to house the new leisure facilities, which include a fitness suite and spa. In the grounds guests will find two tennis courts and a nine hole golf course.

The Oakley Court Hotel has an award winning restaurant which boasts a seasonal menu. Couples planning a wedding have a variety of dishes to choose from for a wedding breakfast menu. Menus for children and buffet menus are also available. Prior to the day, couples can attend a menu tasting to assist with their choices.

The hotel’s wedding co-ordinator can assist with arranging many aspects of the event and can recommend local wedding services if required. Oakley Court is able to accommodate up to 120 people for the civil ceremony and a red carpet and dance floor are included in the wedding package. Also included are personalised menus and place cards, special accommodation rates for guests and wedding night accommodation for the bride and groom with complimentary champagne in their suite.
