Causes

The main cause behind the rhinitis allergy is the weak immune system which is more prone to the allergens. After getting affected with the allergens, an antibody affects the nose as well as throat of the patient. As per the research done, when antibodies attack the blood vessels, a chemical gets released known as Histamine. Histamine in turn produces other symptoms like swelling of the nose which makes a patient uneasy in breathing, running nose and sneezing. As per the medical theories, House dust, trees, grass, pollen, animal’s fur, changes in the work environment and changes in weather are the main allergens around us.

This would help them understand the possible allergens around the patient. The doctor may also do a thorough examination of the nose. They may also want to query the symptoms, the full medical as well as family history of the patient. After the diagnosis, doctor will prescribe appropriate medicines or recommend some other treatment. If the patient responds well to the treatment, the symptoms should get suppressed, but otherwise, patient would be recommended to take several tests which in turn will help the doctor in identifying the exact cause. Skin Prick test, blood test are the quite commonly known methods of allergy tests. Based on the results, doctor will be able to give the correct prescription to the patient.

Treatment
