Swiss National Park: A Place You Can’t Resist



One good place to tour with your kids and the rest of the family is the Swiss National Park, located in eastern Switzerland. It is considered one of the first national parks in Europe. It was founded on August 1, 1914, the day of the celebration of Switzerland’s national holiday. It is the largest protected area in the country with an area of 172.4 km2.

Is Swiss National Park eye-catching, What can we see in the park, Since it is the only protected park in the country, it is filled with fascinating features of Mother Nature. There are certain rules imposed in the park. For example, it is forbidden to disturb the animals or the plants; it is forbidden to take any property from the place; and dogs are not allowed. The park is surrounded by unique flowers, with a magnificent breeze of nature. Other major attractions include the golden eagle, marmots, alpine scenery, forests and flowers, the chamois, stags, capricorns, and a lot more.

Major activities that you could do and share with the whole family are hiking and touring around the place. Overnights, tents, bikes, fire, and stoves are strictly prohibited. However, you can spend the whole night inside the national park by staying in its fine hotel, Chamanna Cluozza, with beautiful huts with rooms of different sizes.

Another great feature of the national park is the Alps; they are known as a young mountain range that’s still growing. In some areas, the different sides of the mountain can be clearly seen. Simply irresistible.
