Bryngarw House

Bridgend, Mid Glamorgan

Ty Bryngarw, not far from the centre of Bridgend, in Mid Glamorgan, was originally built as an 18th century farmhouse. Over the years it has been extended, developed and restored to its current format. Situated in acres of open country parkland, just 4 miles outside Bridgend, it provides an excellent romantic location in which to get married.

This four-star rated hotel contains 19 stylishly decorated bedrooms and reception facilities for up to 70 guests in the Treherne suite. Alternatively, a fully lined marquee, capable of seating 80, can be erected in the gardens during the summer months. By combining both these options the venue can comfortably accommodate 150 guests.

The hotel is licensed and is therefore able to offer both marriage ceremonies and civil partnerships in one of its beautifully furnished oak panelled rooms, which can be elegantly decorated to suit your taste. The staff at Bryngarw can provide support as you plan your wedding, with excellent knowledge of local suppliers and outlets that will ensure your special day run smoothly.

The local area around Bridgend has extensive hotel and B&B accommodation for additional guests. For those wishing to stay the whole weekend, there are many places to visit and with Cardiff only half an hour away, there is plenty to see and do.

Bryngarw House is 4 miles from junction 36 of the M4 motorway and only 2 miles from Bridgend town centre. If you choose to travel by train, Bridgend station is 4 miles away, while Tondu is only a mile down the road and you can also reach the venue by bus.
