This 17th century hotel has a long-standing reputation as a great place for a romantic getaway – it is where Lord Nelson met his lover Emma Hamilton. It has 57 elegantly decorated bedrooms and is situated at the foot of Box Hill, close to the town of Dorking. All rooms have wireless internet access, 24 hour room service, air-conditioning and satellite television.
There is a heated outdoor swimming pool available for use during the summer months, while guests are able to use the facilities of the local health club for free.
The hotel has a wedding co-ordinator and there are several packages available to making planning your day much easier. All packages include a red carpet, a three-course set menu, drinks for the toast, a cake stand and knife, a table plan, menu cards, place cards, complimentary room hire subject to minimum numbers and a deluxe room for the bride and groom on their wedding night. The platinum package will also provide a DJ and disco and a complimentary first anniversary dinner for two.
There is a choice of suites for your event. The Tithe Barn has a high vaulted ceiling and is suitable for larger gatherings while for smaller events the Garden Room is ideal and has its own private garden. The hotel can cater for events from 18-220 guests. The Burford Bridge Hotel has an award-winning restaurant and menus available for wedding can be tailored to suit a wide range of tastes and dietary requirements.
