Name of Hotel: The Burlington Hotel

County: Kent

The Burlington Hotel is a three star hotel set in its own grounds overlooking the English Channel at Folkestone and the Leas Promenade. The hotel is a Victorian/Edwardian style hotel built in the nineteenth century and modernised to today’s standards but keeping its old world charm. Its 70 rooms are all equipped with Freeview TV, telephone and other home comforts.

The restaurant is run by an award winning chef and the menu is a seasonal mix of traditional and continental fare. For weddings and other events a wide variety of dishes are available to choose from to create a menu to suit individual tastes and dietary requirements.

The Premier Suite can accommodate 160 people for the wedding breakfast and 200 for the evening reception. The Radnor Suite can hold 120 for the wedding ceremony. Smaller function rooms are available for more intimate celebrations. Drinks packages are available to cover welcome drinks and those for the wedding breakfast and toast.

The hotel has a wedding co-ordinator who can help to plan each aspect of the day. A complimentary room for the bride and groom on their wedding night with fresh fruit, flowers, chocolates and sparkling wine is the gift of the hotel to the happy couple. Their guests can take advantage of reduced accommodation rates.

Couples can arrange their own entertainment or, if required, the hotel can book a DJ or band. The winter wedding package has no minimum guest number requirement. The hotel can also recommend local wedding services such as photographers if needed.
