Stapleford Park

Leicestershire

Stapleford Park is a seventeenth century manor house situated near Melton Mowbray. An AA four star hotel, it is set in 500 acres of landscaped grounds and parklands created by Capability Brown. It offers 55 rooms which range from house rooms to suites and self-contained cottages in the grounds. Guests have access to the on site leisure facilities which include a golf club, swimming pool, gym and treatment rooms for holistic therapies. Traditional country sports such as fishing and shooting are also available.

The hotel’s Pavilion Brasserie is listed in the Michelin Guide and the Grinling Gibbons restaurant has been awarded two AA rosettes. The menu is a blend of traditional English and continental fare.

Stapleford Park has a wedding co-ordinator who can advise on all aspects of the day and who can provide a directory of recommended local wedding services if required, including entertainment, florist and photographers. The bride and bridesmaids can make use of the hotel’s own make-up artist on the day of the wedding.

The hotel can host wedding ceremonies in the Orangery for up to 150 people, while wedding breakfasts for up to 180 people can be accommodated. The wedding package includes arrival drinks, wine with the wedding breakfast and champagne for the toast, a Master of Ceremonies and personalised menu cards. Firework displays can be arranged for the evening celebrations. For smaller weddings held from Tuesday to Thursday a separate wedding package is an option.
