Part of the Von Essen group of hotels, Bishopstrow House dates from 1878 and is situated close to Warminster. Its 32 rooms all offer satellite TV and complimentary fresh fruit. They range from standard to suites with some facilities available for the mobility impaired.
The award-winning chefs at the Mulberry restaurant have created varied menus making use of fresh, local and organic produce.
The Halcyon Spa has a range of facilities for guests to enjoy, including a swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, fitness studio, tennis courts and holistic therapies.
The hotel has a wedding co-ordinator who can assist with all aspects of planning your day and a list of local suppliers can be made available if required. Three rooms are available for the ceremony, depending on the size of the gathering; the Library has a capacity for 25 guests; the Drawing Room can seat 30 and the Somerset Room can accommodate up to 70.
For an evening function, the hotel can host events for up to 100 people and exclusive use of the hotel is available. Menus for the wedding breakfast and evening reception are varied and cater for all dietary requirements.
The Von Essen group has its own fleet of luxury jets and helicopters and can arrange for couples to be collected from almost anywhere, facilities permitting and arrive at their wedding in style. Alternatively, Rolls-Royce Phantom and chauffeur are available for hire through the hotel.
