Choosing a veil or other suitable headdress

So you have finalised your outfit and the next stage is to find accessories to complete the perfect look. The most important accessory to think about having is a veil or some other form of headdress – tiara, flowers or hair jewellery.
Different types of veil are available in a variety of lengths that consist of one, two or three layers. Veils can be as simple or as decorative as you want – simple stitching round the edge, or covered in sequins or scattered crystals to match the detail on your wedding dress. If you choose a short single layer veil then this tends to be worn at the back of the head and the length is only down to the top of the shoulders. This type of veil is not designed to be worn forward covering the face. If you want a veil to come forward over the face then a two layer veil is the most appropriate choice. These types of veils can be worn at the top or the back of the head. Lengthwise, the back layer can go down to the floor which looks quite elegant if you have a train on your dress.
The other most popular choice of wedding headdress is a tiara. Tiaras are available in a range of shapes and colours. They can be covered in crystals, beads or simply whatever will suit your dress. You could even weave flowers into your tiara which would be an appropriate choice if you are having a beach wedding.
