Choosing bridesmaids’ dresses

After the wedding dress has been chosen the next outfit or outfits that need to be considered are the bridesmaids’ outfits. They should be flattering but also well styled to match the bridal gown. When looking for bridesmaid dresses, look for a style that will flatter your bridesmaid’s figures and make them look elegant. A popular style is A-line, as it’s are elegant and looks good on almost any body shape and size. Another popular look for bridesmaid dresses is the sleeveless look.
You should get your bridesmaids’ measurements and then start looking for the perfect dresses. There is a variety of fabrics that can be chosen for a bridesmaid’s dress, including taffeta, georgettes, satin, silk and brocade. The simplest and least stressful option is to choose a dress design that will suit all of your bridesmaids. However, this will not be an option if your bridesmaid’s are very different in height and size.
Almost all gowns can be altered to fit almost any body shape, but if the body is not in shape then the most expensive of gowns will not look flattering. The most important thing is that the final bridesmaid dress does justice. Depending on the season of your wedding you have a choice of colours. For spring or summer weddings opt for lighter pastel colours such as light green or pink, whereas in winter darker colours can be used such as rich reds, dark blue or green. It is not necessary to have your bridesmaids dressed in the same colour. There are various ways to incorporate colours so your bridesmaids’ outfits match.
